Cavlan Basarir

Innovation and self improvement oriented designer with a solid 23 years of professional experience. Through these years continuously added new skills as the aesthetics and the technology evolved.

Educated and mentored by Turkish, Polish, American, Austrian and British acclaimed designers, artists and engineers on graphic design, user experience and interface design, typography, ad campaigning, illustration, animation, video, post production, script writing, proposal and tender designs.

Proudly exhibited with Turkish and British artists in 1997 at the “Eklissia Art Festival”, with German artists in 1998 at the “Art Agora Artists Gathering” and with Turkish and Polish artists in 2012 “37.5 Graphic Designers’ Exhibition”

Designed, developed, managed and produced short term and long term (2-3 years) projects from single piece designs to whole campaigns as a solo designer, team member or as a team leader.

Worked with colleagues and clients from Turkey, UK, US, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovakia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Isreal, Ukraine, Moldova, Russia and China.

Currently teaching at “Bilkent University, Department of  Graphic Design" and "Atilim University Department of Fine Arts Common Courses". Previously thought classes at the “Bilkent University Department of Business Information Management” and the “TOBB Technology University Department of Industrial Design” and “Department of Graphic Design”. Have over 18 years of teaching experience.
